“I recently had the pleasure of experiencing a workshop with Ilene Wolff and she is nothing short of amazing! She is a strong, bright and clear teacher and therapist who creates a lot of depth, safety, and connection in a very short period of time. I highly recommend working with her.” ~ Lorraine Platt, LMFT

“Ilene is a Rockstar of a therapist” “Both my wife and I have seen her and we agree we have seen more progress on issues in the few meetings we had with her than with all the meetings we had with several other therapists. We have a three hour drive each way to see her and she is really worth the hassle of the drive.”~ Steve L.

I attend a class she runs exclusively for therapists, called “Getting to The Heart of the Matter.” I’ve never seen anyone so quickly identify the source of a problem and instantly understand the path to healing. This workshop allows you to bring to life your inner drama and rewrite your life’s “script,” with the support of the group. You’ll bring to life relationships, recruit allies and heal age-old problems while retrieving the most loving and healthy parts of yourself. This is absolutely one of the most rewarding and effective therapy classes I have ever attended – and it’s fun. I highly recommend it!” ~ Alan Barsky, CHT, MH

We felt that speaking to someone about all these changes and trying to work through some of the issues that started appearing in our relationship was the positive and proactive approach to handling all that was going on! We both felt an instant connection and felt that Ilene perceived to the heart of some of our issues fairly quickly. While this is still new and fresh for us, we are seeing some positive changes and are looking for to additional discussions that will help us both grow in our personal relationship as well as the bond with our new baby girl. We were delighted to have the opportunity to listen to a presentation by Ilene Wolf, licensed marriage and family therapist. She spoke about the anxiety we all feel around conflict, and how compassion, forgiveness and kindness can melt it away. Having experienced an ongoing low level anxiety for the last few days over some work related conflict, this seminar was especially helpful and opportune for me. Ilene spoke directly to our hearts and the whole experience was a real treat. ~ Marla Hamilton, Co-President Soroptimist International of Marin County

“an amazing therapist!…”

“Overcoming Bullying and Creating Healthy Learning Environments…”
“Ilene Wolf and Regina Moreno (Daughter of Jacob Moreno, the creator of the field of psychodrama and group therapy) did an excellent job of describing the dynamics of bullying, which is so valuable for therapists, teachers, parents and administrators. Having accessible language assists everyone in discussing this crucial problem with young people and adults.

Students learn better when they feel safe and appreciated, making it beneficial for schools to have programs like yours for everyone in their school community. There tend to be fewer classroom interruptions caused by students arguing with each other, which creates more time for teachers to teach. Students who are threatened by a bully often cannot pay attention in class, so bullying prevention can increase students’ ability to actually listen and learn in their classes. Students who are bullied severely often stay home from school, reducing funding for schools and preventing those students from learning on the days they miss school. This work benefits everyone, because parents and guardians don’t want their children to be scared and to get hurt as victims of bullies, or to practice being mean as bullies. For young people to learn to assert positive values as bystanders empowers them to take an active role in creating healthy environments, a valuable skill for them to have throughout their lives.” ~ Lorie Hill, PhD JFK University Counseling Department

“It was an enlightening process…”
“I experienced the feeling of being seen and understood through the psychodrama techniques used. Ilene used a combination of techniques to get me focused and advocated for me as client while in the process. It was an enlightening process.” ~ Patricia Wilson, MA, LMFT

“a new level of compassion and empathy …”
“I felt challenged in ways that allowed me to experience a new level of compassion and empathy with my children. “
~ J.L.

“A gifted drama therapist”
“Ilene Wolf,LMFT impresses me with her clinical insight and caring, engaged sense of self in relationship. I recently chose her to provide aide in teaching my 48 hour course in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy for licensed therapists and for advanced graduate students. Ilene taught a workshop in Drama Therapy Parallels Hypnotherapy for my students. She was clear, concise and interesting in her lecture and demonstrations with students, and added materially to the scope and clinical utility of my training.

In addition, she demonstrated a perceptive and helpful sense of group process and interpersonal relations during the course of the training. She worked well with and supported the students in many ways, small and large. I have been training professional psychotherapists for forty five years and teaching internationally. I would place Ilene Wolff’s skills in the top ten percent of all those I have trained. Her professionalism and reach are evident, and she is a gifted drama therapist.” ~ Dr. Eric Greenleaf, MEHBA
